As the seasons in the northern hemispheres begin to turn colder, my thoughts turn to snow, and one of my favorite outdoor activities – skiing!
This little piece of sandy animation was inspired by a winter living and skiing in Aspen, Colorado. There always seemed to be a perfect mix of snow and sunshine, which made it hard to stay in my studio pushing around grains of sand. So, with a bit of After Effects magic, the sand turned to snow! You’ll find more color tricks in Chapter 4 of the book.
